End of an era

I was in the middle of completing level 6 on The Getaway, you know the one where you are supposed to lure the Triads to the Yorkies.
Well, Ginger decided to make a dash for her toy but got tangled up in the controller cord and pulled down my PS2 from a shelf. It landed with a magnificent crash, Ginger jumped 1 feet up in the air and I was presented with psychedelic patterns on the TV.
Needless to say, the PS2 is not working; the DVD-Rom is not opening. I will probably stab at it this weekend with a screw driver but my hopes are low. Another one bites the dust I guess.
In other news I got my first comment spam on some old posts. It’s a bittersweet experience; I hate all forms of spam but I have been feeling left out until now.

    Invest in some wireless controllers next time. In fact, I have two that I have never used. Shall I send them to you?

  5. you think your story is bad, i was playing DBZ Budokai 2 on sunday and on monday when i went to play it, it wouldn’t work so i tried all my ps2 games and they all said disc read erorr.then i tried a dvd and a cd and it said the same thing so my ps2 can only play playstation 1 games.

  7. i have the same problem most of my ps2 games dont work apart from guilty gear x2, dues-ex and tony hawks some others work occasionally like the sims or quake 3 but any new game doesnt seem to work at all.

  8. hey im having some trouble with my ps2.
    i opened it up to fix the lense and the white wire came out of the side. its not broke or anything it just came out andi dont know what to do. can someone please help and email me or post a message, thanks.

  9. My PS2 read disk error. It plays CD Rom but it don’t play my games. I try all of them and they don’t work. Can anyone help. Also it is not about the grinding noises, it doesn’t do that it just don’t read my games. Please help

  10. To fix my PS2 from locking up only minutes after I put my game in, I did what everyone keeps sayin…clean the laser and adjust the white gear. My only problem is that I have two white gears and adjusting them both the same amount didn’t do anything. Can anyone help a person who’s gone a month w/o playin’ and is gettin’ antsy!?

  11. my dog tripped over my wires also and caused it to crash.i tried bringing it out forcefully but it opens and closes half away.so i need major help!!
