The convenience and simplicity of this grinder cannot be beat for its price. I certainly share your conviction that burr grinders are the way to go.

I use a burr hand crank grinder. It is a replica of the old country store models and seems to work well. I went for a country look with function. Looks good on the counter and tastes great also.
